About Our Mission
There are many great organizations in our communities who provide help with food, clothing, and other "outer" physical needs. We collaborate with them to identify women in need who are ready to take the next steps to do the hard work of making changes in how they do life, so that they can improve their quality of life.
Once their physical needs are met by these other organizations, we provide opportunities for them to develop relationships, grow spiritually, strengthen life management skills, and gain job-related skill sets. With these as a foundation, she can build a safety net to enable resiliency.

Our Mission: At SET to Flourish, we come alongside women rising from adversity — equipping them with faith, community, and skills so they can flourish in the purpose God designed for them in life and work.
“Guided by faith. Growing in purpose. Flourishing in life.”

Our Purpose: Serve as an on ramp for unemployed or underemployed women to advance in their readiness for livable wage jobs. Provide spiritual and emotional support, as well as educational and training resources to enable her to fill in gaps where she lacks foundational skills and knowledge, so that she can be prepared to succeed in workforce training and subsequent employment.

Our Goals: SET -Spark, Edify, and Train

SPARK
Spark hope and aspirations.

EDIFY
Edify her capacity to flourish.

TRAIN
Train for life management and employment success.
Who We Are
SET To Flourish (STF) is a Christian Women's Job Corps site, part of a national compassion ministry organization, started in 1997 to equip women for life and employment. STF became a registered site in May 2025, established to serve Collin County.

Collin County already has many resources and services for those in need and we do not intend to duplicate services. Our purpose is to supplement what other agencies are providing by offering support to participants in ways that are especially suited to faith-based programs.

We are a ministry that builds on a foundation of long-term mentoring relationships, with the goals of spiritual development, strengthening life management skills, and acquiring job-related skill sets.

We serve to be the crossroads where Christian women who seek avenues to live out Christ's love intersects with women who seek to be loved through grace and want to be a part of a story bigger than what they have experienced thus far.

We are all volunteers, coming from a variety of churches and Christian denominations, united in our desire to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Please reach out whether you are interested in volunteering or being a program participant.
