We are looking for a compassionate team of volunteers to minister to women who are ready to do the hard work of making changes in their lives, in order to flourish spiritually, personally, and professionally.

Volunteers are needed to provide mentorship, life skills workshops, and job readiness training.

Get a group of friends together and serve as mentoring teams or teaching teams. You will be having meaningful long term impact on someone's life; she will forever be different because of you.

Training for all volunteer roles will be provided.

All volunteers will be required to submit a background check.

Mentor Teams

The foundational piece of our program is the mentoring relationship, formed between our participants and volunteers who serve as mentors who are called "journey partners."

We do mentoring in small teams of 3-4 mentors per team. That relieves any pressure for responsibility or compatibility between an individual mentor or participant.

Each mentor team will meet with 3-5 participants at a time.

While we describe this role as mentoring, it is actually closer to coaching. It is mostly listening and helping the participants to think through decisions, express their hopes and dreams, encouraging them to persevere, and being their cheerleaders.

Teaching Teams

Another primary thread throughout our program is to encourage life-long learning. Regardless of our age or season in life, we should always be willing to teach others and to learn from others.

Our workshops and other learning activities, called Learning Circles, will cover a variety of topics, ranging from Bible study related, to life management, to job-related skills.

If you have a heart to teach or facilitate a workshop, let us know.

We encourage volunteers and participants to suggest topics and activities for Learning Circles.

Advisory Council

If you want to support our work but don't have time to mentor or teach, please consider serving on our Advisory Council.

We seek women and men who have relevant professional experience or skill sets, or lived experience of the challenges commonly faced by those who are struggling to survive.

Our Advisory Council will provide feedback and advice and serve a similar function to a Board of Directors.

PRAYER WARRIORS

We need volunteers who will commit to cover us with prayer.
